Help shape Scotland’s future

We are seeking a visionary leader to help drive transformative change across the Scottish Government, and take charge of a diverse portfolio of responsibilities.

As Director-General Net Zero, you will lead a £6 billion budget and a workforce of 2,400, directly influencing national priorities in areas such as climate change, agriculture, forestry, marine, rural economy and offshore wind.

You’ll work closely with Ministers and the First Minister, while championing an inclusive, high-performing culture across government.
