Graduate Development Programme
Our Graduate Development Programme offers an accelerated route into a leadership role at the Scottish Government through a fully-supported 4-year programme of work placements and learning.
We recruit for the programme every 2 years and the next application window is expected to open in 2025.
Modern Apprenticeships Positions
We recruit Modern Apprentices for a wide range of roles and positions. Our apprentices have the opportunity to work and study at the same time, gaining valuable work experience whilst also earning a salary and achieving a qualification.
Apprenticeships are advertised throughout the year.
Graduate Apprenticeship Positions
We support our staff to develop their skills and offer graduate apprenticeships to employees who would benefit from undertaking a formal qualification related to their role.
Graduate apprenticeships are currently only available to existing staff members, with information on how to apply shared on our internal channels.
Internships and work experience
We also offer a variety of internship opportunities and paid work experience for students and young people to gain valuable experience in a specific professional area or role.
